Christine McGuinness sparked romance rumours playing footsie with a mystery man.
The model and TV star split from husband Paddy McGuinness in 2022 but has now hinted that she could have found new love. The blonde is currently on holiday and shared a glimpse of a man’s feet resting against her own in a cryptic snap on her Instagram Story.
It didn’t reveal much, but the mystery man and Christine were wearing matching red Adidas trainers in the cute snap. There were few clues to his identity, although tattoos could be seen on his legs, and Christine didn’t share any other details.
Christine, 36, had been married to Top Gear star Paddy since 2011 and they share three children – 10-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and seven-year-old daughter Felicity, who are all on the autistic spectrum. But in the summer of 2022 they announced they had called time on their romance after 11 years of marriage and that they were going their separate ways.
They told fans in a joint statement that they still lived in the same house together and still had “a great relationship”. “This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children,” they said.
Christine’s love life has been in the spotlight since her split from Paddy, with fans keen to know if she’s dipped her toe back in the dating pool. But earlier this year she said she was spending time getting to know herself a bit better.
The star, who was diagnosed with autism herself in 2021, said on ITV’s Loose Women: “It’s important for me at this time to take this time with me. I’m still getting to know me. I was only diagnosed a few years ago and in those rare moments when I am alone I need to get to know myself.”
“I’ve always been a loner and I’m quite happy in my own company,” Christine added.
