Months after going through a painful separation from longtime wife Christine Baumgartner, it looks as though Kevin Costner has potentially found love again.

According to reports, the Yellowstone star has entered a relationship with singer Jewel – the two were recently snapped together on Richard Branson’s Necker Island at a tennis fundraiser for the Inspiring Children Foundation.

TMZ claim that the pair had flown to the Caribbean together and spent time in each other’s company for over a week. This, of course, comes not long after the drama Costner went through as a result of his post-relationship court battle with the aforementioned Baumgartner.

According to reports, Costner was blindsided by his wife’s decision to begin divorce proceedings back in May of this year. The whole sorry saga then continued to spiral downwards from there.

In early May, Christine filed divorce papers, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The pair had been married for 18 years.

A representative for Costner released a statement reading: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.

“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”

Costner and Baumgartner married in 2004. The couple have three kids together: sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 12.

What followed Baumgartner’s filing was a bitter feud between she and Costner, one that included the former being forced out of the family home – as per a prenuptial agreement – and the latter being ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support.

Yet though the road has undoubtedly been a dark one for Costner, filled with heartbreak, uncertainty and a lot of stress he could probably have done without, it would appear there is light at the end of the tunnel.

As per TMZ, Costner has embarked upon a romance with US singer Jewel. As mentioned above, the pair flew to the Caribbean together, with one source stating: “There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.”

Another source added: “You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on.”

Not only that, but Jewel mentioned Costner on social media. Referring to the tennis fundraiser held on Necker Island, located in the British Virgin Islands, she said: “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest and play w my son! @kevincostnermodernwest was kind enough to mentor our kids this year.”

TMZ also say that Costner and Jewel flew back together. A source told them that Jewel is “picky,” adding: “She wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.”
