Rod Stewart personally fixes road potholes because he believes nobody else is willing to take on the task

Fortunately, Stewart’s dedication and manual efforts received acknowledgment from the local government, prompting a response to his needs. According to the BBC, Stewart’s personal initiative to address potholes proved effective as the Essex County Council completed the planned work he had started.

In a statement, the council clarified that the micro-surfacing work had already been scheduled before any inquiry, forming part of their pre-planned activities for the year. This work, inclusive of road finishing, surfacing, and drainage repair in Harlow, Essex County, had concluded the previous week, ensuring a lasting solution for both Stewart and other road users.

Expressing gratitude for Stewart’s involvement, the Essex County Council extended an invitation to the music icon to spend a day with their road-patching team, providing him insight into their repair processes.

While it remains unclear whether Stewart accepted the invitation to join the road repair crew in Essex County, the completion of the road repairs means he can now confidently drive his Ferrari without fear of tire damage.

This not only benefits Stewart but also ensures uninterrupted emergency services, such as ambulances, in their crucial life-saving operations. Undoubtedly, taking matters into one’s own hands can have a significant impact.
