Valerie Bertinelli Openly Discloses Her Experience of Being Criticized for Her Appearance

Valerie Bertinelli has openly discussed her struggles with mental health and “hidden bruises” – the emotional, verbal, and mental scars that aren’t physically visible.

In a recent Instagram video, she addressed a swishing sound caused by her jeans rubbing together, which she previously avoided wearing due to cruel remarks from an ex-partner. Bertinelli describes the jeans as a symbol of her growth, illustrating her journey to overcome the internal wounds from past abuse.

She acknowledges the challenge of sharing such personal experiences but views the video as a testament to her healing. Bertinelli invites others to share their stories of “hidden bruises” and connect through shared experiences of healing.
