The couple were trying to film a funny video when the woman’s hand got stuck in her boyfriend’s mouth, before Dr Zhang Mingyan helped free her from his jaw at the hospital in China
A man ended up in the hospital after his girlfriend’s hand got wedged in his mouth.
The pair had been trying their hand at some comic content creation, aiming to capture a humorous moment for a video when the prank took an unexpected turn. Captured on camera, the extraordinary scene unfolded as they entered the emergency room with the woman’s hand firmly ensnared between her partner’s jaws. Onlookers could see the distress on the man’s face as he drooled helplessly, struggling to relieve his mouth of its human clamp.
During desperate attempts to detach herself, the woman later recounted the terrifying episode, saying: “It felt like my hand was stuck in a meat grinder.”
She became worried as her boyfriend’s cheeks flushed crimson and she fought to free her hand while he involuntary slobbered and gurgled.
Then the situation took an even worst turn as the man began involuntarily nibbling down on her wrist due to uncontrollable muscle twitches.
Originally, the quirky test involved checking if her apparently petite hand could fit in his mouth, intended to result in a light-hearted social media post.

In a bid to diffuse the alarming ordeal, doctors in Jilin, China, employed calming tunes and applied a special device, along with a muscle relaxant, to safely extricate her extremity.
Dr Zhang Mingyan, who attended to the unfortunate occurrence, shed light on the peculiar entrapment by pointing out the sudden seizing up of the boyfriends jaw muscles.
He managed to remove it by gently rotating the woman’s wrist. The removal took around 20 minutes and the man did not suffer any serious injuries.
Dr Zhang Mingyan has warned others against trying the trick, advising that forcing a person’s jaw open can cause nerve damage or the dislocation of the jaw.
