A lady, about eight months pregnant..

A lady, about eight months pregnant, got on a bus and noticed the man across from her smiling. Feeling a little awkward, she moved to another seat. But the man’s smile turned into a grin, so she moved again.

The man seemed more amused with each move. By the fourth time she shifted, he burst out laughing.

Feeling uncomfortable, she complained to the bus driver, and the man was arrested!

In court, the judge asked the man to explain himself.

He said, “Well, Your Honor, when she first got on the bus, I noticed her condition. She sat under a sign that said, ‘The Double Mint Twins are coming’—and I grinned. Then she moved and sat under a sign that said, ‘Slogan’s Liniment will reduce the swelling’—and I smiled.

But when she sat under a sign that said, ‘William’s Big Stick Did the Trick,’ I could hardly contain myself. And, Your Honor, when she moved to a seat under a sign that said, ‘Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident’—I just lost it!”
