Demi Moore is no stranger to cosmetic surgery touch ups here and there, but a source exclusively tells Life & Style she’s recently been feeling the changes go a bit too far and is dissolving some of her fillers, which has people around her breathing a collective sigh of relief.

“Demi is drawing attention, because she’s clearly had some things removed,” the insider says. “She’s easing up on the nip/tucks, her cheeks look more natural, so she may have had her cheek filler dissolved.”

Demi, 62, stunned with a much more natural look while walking the Golden Globes’ red carpet on January 5. The Substance star’s youthful glow stood in stark contrast to her “unrecognizable” look on the Fendi runway in 2021, when she was 58. Though she has occasionally chimed in to deny plastic surgery rumors over the years, notably in 2007 after fans pointed out a difference in her breasts and nose, her appearance at the fashion show was dramatically different than pre-COVID. Her cheeks appeared gaunt and her mouth tight, but ballooning in an uncanny way, which can be indicative of having work done.

There might be some left, but it’s not as obvious as before,” the insider says. “There are other telltale signs she’s relaxing on the fillers and Botox.”

The Ghost actress is rumored to have dropped an estimated $300,000 total on cosmetic surgery over the years. Dr Mark Solomos, of Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger who has not treated Demi, told Hello! Magazine that he does credit her “incredible bone structure” with much of her youthful appearance, but she likely began having small intervention treatments decades ago to maintain a 30-or-so year old skin tightness. The doctor assessed she may have undergone a lip lift, a surgery that reduces the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip that can make the patient appear younger by flattening out some smile lines, in addition to a face and neck lift or laser resurfacing surgery — a newer treatment that burns away the first layer of skin, which allows fresh, youthful skin cells to grow underneath.

The source says that because “Demi’s a natural beauty,” her friends and loved ones “always wondered why she wanted to undergo all these cosmetic procedures in the first place.”

As plastic surgery becomes more common and thus more openly-discussed, the insider notes most celebs tend to go way overboard, stuck in a rut of poor self-esteem reinforced through the public eye, especially women feeling the pressure to stay frozen in time.
It’s a Hollywood trend that’s gotten way out of control and fortunately Demi isn’t falling for it, at least not like she was,” the source says. “She’s still focused on maintaining her youthful glow, but she’s opting for less invasive things like micro needling, facials and just taking care of herself with diet, exercise and getting plenty of sleep.”

With such a considerable improvement in her natural-looking appearance, it’s unlikely Demi will go back to heavy procedures any time soon. “Whatever she’s doing, it’s working.”
