Valdemira “Valda” Rodrigues de Oliveira is proving that love never grows old—at 106, she’s officially the world’s oldest fiancée. And by her side? Aparecido “Jaco” Dias Jacob, 66. Despite a 40-year age gap, their story is anything but unusual to them. They met at a nursing home in Brazil three years ago and have been inseparable ever since.

“I fell in love with him. I like him a lot. If he dies, I die too,” Valda said of her deep bond with Jaco. He feels the same: “I fell in love with Valda the moment I saw her.
