Victoria Beckham is set to dodge giving airtime to her ongoing family drama in her new Netflix show.
The former Spice Girl, 51, will snub giving mention to the supposed family feud with son Brooklyn and his billionaire heiress wife Nicola in favour of focusing on her life and career in fashion and pop music.
A Netflix insider told the Daily Star about her upcoming show: “The Beckham family drama off screen will not be a narrative. Cameras have shot scenes with family members, including her husband David, as well as Brooklyn and Nicola, in the last year. But aspects of Brooklyn missing his father’s 50th birthday celebrations were not seen as relevant content to the show.”
It means the series’ promise of giving a “behind the scenes” look at Victoria’s life will actually keep fans guessing about the state of relations between the Beckhams and Brooklyn.
Brooklyn, 26, and his model missus Nicole, 30, have reportedly been keeping their distance from his family after they failed to attend his dad David’s 50th birthday party. There have also been signs things are frosty on social media, with wannabe chef Brooklyn suspiciously absent as his famous family rushed to send brother Romeo congratulations on his 23rd birthday recently.

A source in LA said about his mum’s new show: “The word came down through production that this show is about Victoria’s journey to becoming one of the most in demand fashion designers on the planet. There are discussions about family life and the challenges of balancing a career and her businesses.
“But the Netflix team, overseeing the project, says that Brooklyn’s issues with his parents are not part of this process. Of course the matter came up within the Netflix teams because of the media discussion around Victoria and David publicly. It is billed as a docuseries, but in reality it is more a business focused exploration of the brand and the woman behind it.”
The insider added the series would not be the same type of tell-all Victoria’s husband David, 50, gave in his hit Netflix documentary about his career, family life and past controversies.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s feud with the Beckhams escalated when the pair didn’t have his parents at his wedding vow renewal service this summer. Rumours of a feud in the clan kicked off after reports Nicola refused to wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding gown at her original nuptials with Brooklyn in 2022.
Victoria has said there will be “tears” in her new documentary, set to air in October, but sources say they will not be linked to the family drama. Another source has said her children “hardly feature” in the show.
Insiders have previously said she is “heartbroken” over her rift with Brooklyn.
She said in an interview to plug the show: “There are tears. And it did occur to me the other day, ‘What am I going to think when I see those tears on a huge screen? Or on an iPhone?’
“To be completely honest, I am in the hands of the editor now.” She added the show will tackle her 20 years in fashion, including business “struggles”.
Netflix’s publicity team has promised it will give “an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s business” and “tell the story of Victoria’s reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand”.
Netflix has been approached for comment by the Daily Star on claims her family feud won’t feature in the show.
