Carrie Underwood gained fame and recognition after she appeared and won the fourth season of the hit show American Idol.

Since then her career has taken off considerably and she has become a household name.

The singer is now a married woman and mother of two with her husband Mike Fisher.

Carrie Underwood just started her latest tour, the Denim & Rhinestones tour this past weekend. The singer did promotional events for her upcoming tour, one of which was an interview on Today.

The singer juggles her career as a musician along with being a mother of two. And now as her children grow older, she reveals they have a better idea of why their mother can be absent during sometimes of their lives.

She revealed that her 7-year-old son Isiah is becoming more aware of what his mother might do for a living. She revealed, he is “becoming more aware” of her fame!

“I feel like, Isaiah, who’s 7½, he’s becoming more aware that it’s not normal,” she said, talking about how her son is more aware that people know who his mother is.

“He’ll go to school and someone will be like, ‘I saw your mom on TV last night,’ ” she went on. “He’s just becoming more aware that his mom does something that’s not normal.”
