The 11 year old speed crochets is an incredible masterpiece of charity

The 11 year old “crochet wonder” sells stunning scarves, blankets and bedspreads so he can save orphans thousands of dollars

Jonah Larson taught himself the crutch when he was five.

At the age of 11, he was known as the “knitting wonder” who masters the patterns grandmothers struggle with.

He is not only good, but also fast and takes out blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, bedspreads and cuddly toys with amazing speed, as documented on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, where he now has over 200,000 followers.

And what is he working his fingers to the bone for? Charity… and for fun, of course.

Jonah donates many of his crocheted blankets and sweaters, and most of his profits from selling the rest, to the Ethiopian orphanage he was adopted from and the surrounding community.

He recently raised $ 20,000 to build a library in the community he was born into and to provide primary school supplies for the children who live there.

He also enjoys keeping his hands busy, which helps calm his mind.

“I’m a very busy thinker and I always think about how to do things differently. Knitting is a quiet time for me because it relaxes my mind. Everyone should have something on their mind,” Jonah told the La Crosse Tribune .

He told NPR, “After a very rough and messy day in this busy school world, it’s nice to know that I can go home and crochet in my little corner of the house while sitting next to the one I love most: Mummy.” .

One of the most difficult designs to complete was a ceiling with 800 marigolds:

“I want to give children in Ethiopia the opportunity to unleash their passion and potential,” he says of the fundraiser, which is supposed to help women and children develop their talents and start small businesses.

It looks like he’s well on his way to achieving his goal with his own book from the press:
