Katie Price’s love life has been splashed all over the front pages since she found fame as a fresh-faced model and since then she has shown a keen interest in reality TV men

Katie Price’s love life has hit the headlines since the moment she found fame as an 18-year old Page 3 model in 1996.

She soon became a household name, with tales from her personal life covering more newspaper pages than the glamour shoots that propelled her ‘Jordan’ persona to stardom. After undergoing multiple breast enhancement surgeries, she went on to be one of the most famous glamour models in British history, appearing in the likes of FHM, Playboy, and of course the Daily Star.

During those early years, her first relationship in the public eye saw her date Warren Furman – better known at the time as Gladiators’ Ace – to whom she was engaged briefly. Following their split, Katie entered into a two-year relationship with singer Dane Bowers, before hooking up with another big name – Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke – the father of her first-born, Harvey.

Since then, Katie’s relationships have seen her become engaged to businessman Scott Sullivan in 2002, marry I’m A Celebrity co-star Peter Andre in 2005, romance rugby star Danny Cipriani briefly and marry cage-fighter Alex Reid in Las Vegas in 2010.

Her colourful past also involved dating Leandro Penna in 2011 and Charles Drury in 2019, becoming engaged to Kris Boyson in 2018 and marrying Kieran Hayler in 2013. Aside from those relationships, mum-of-five Katie has taken a keen interest in reality TV stars over the years, which we’ll look at in more detail.

Singer Gareth found fame on the first series of Pop Idol in 2002, running eventual winner Will Young close in a two-horse race that captured the nation’s imagination before X Factor became a ‘thing’. In the months that followed his newfound stardom, rumours began to circulate that at 17 he had lost his virginity to Katie.

It wasn’t until 14 years later that he finally addressed the speculation himself, after it had been claimed he’d quite the limelight due to the embarrassment over his one-night stand. “It wasn’t the reason I wanted to be a pop star, he explained. “There are stars out there for the wrong reason. I wanted to be recognised for my talent.”

Gareth said said the truth emerged because he told Katie he didn’t want a long-term relationship, leading to her selling the story. However, he denied it happened at the time as he didn’t want his family to know about his sex life.

The 39-year old star continued: “For me I was very young, I had to say I don’t want to have a long term relationship at this age, so she sold the story, and I said it was all lies. The only thing I thought in my head to do was say it had never happened, I felt I had to because I didn’t want my family to know about my sex life. I didn’t tell anyone my family or friends, so they all backed me.”

Katie met former Love Island star Carl in 2020, but the pair were dogged by rumours of break-ups in the years that followed. They were engaged when Carl finally broke up with Katie for good in November 2023, as he posted accusations on social media that she had cheated on him.

Prior to that they had been together for two years – aside from previous mini cooling-off periods – but Carl’s cheating allegations were full of expletives and he admitted that he was “heartbroken” by the supposed infidelity. “So yeah, that’s the end of that. I guess I’m just gonna focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track. And concentrating on me but that’s done,” Carl told his Instagram followers at the time.

In happier times (April 2021) Katie broke news of their engagement to OK! magazine, revealing that they had been talking about tying the knot for a while. She said: “It’s refreshing to be with a man that if I decided I never wanted to work again, he’d look after me. I just love him. We’d spoken about it a lot, so I knew he was going to, I just didn’t know when. It was amazing. Carl asked my mum and dad for permission – and Junior!”

Earlier this week it was reported that Katie is moving on quickly from ex-fiancé Carl Woods and is “constantly” texting Married At First Sight UK star, JJ. Katie is said to be smitten with the 30-year old, who famously ditched his new bride Bianca Petronzi, before hooking up with Ella Morgan after the pair hit it off in a number of flirty encounters.

Like Katie, however, JJ is now single after parting his E4 show on friends terms with Ella. A source told the Sun of Katie and JJ: “They’ve met a few times and are texting each other constantly. She’s really into him – this is the first man she’s actually been interested in since Carl.”

It has the potential to be the perfect romance, as Katie – who is 14 years his senior – ticks a number of his boxes. JJ expressed what he “normally goes for” on MAFS, citing fake boobs and fake lips – much to Bianca’s dismay at the beginning of their doomed romance.
