Pop star Selena Gomez has shared a racy snap of herself seemingly naked in bed with her new boyfriend Benny Blanco after she won praise for her empowering body positivity post last month

Selena Gomez has shared a cosy snap taken by her new boyfriend Benny Blanco.

The 31-year-old singer surprised fans when she revealed her relationship with the 35-year-old music producer and posted a cheeky photo of them snuggling in bed on Instagram, captioned “Mornings with you.”

The saucy picture showed Selena seemingly nude, wrapped in fluffy bed sheets with her head resting on a pillow. She tagged Benny in the photo, hinting that he was the one who captured the intimate moment.

“It’s very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you, but I know when it happens it will be great and you will want it to be healthy,” she said in an interview. They’ve been spotted at several glitzy events together, like the Golden Globes and the Emmy Awards, and even enjoyed a cosy date at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game.

Selena also shared how her happiness has boosted her body confidence in an honest Instagram post. She posted two bikini photos of herself – one from her 20s in 2013, and another from last year. The Come and Get It singer confessed she knew she wouldn’t be that size again, but she was okay with it.

“Today, I realised I will never look like this again…,” the Only Murders in the Building actress penned. “I’m not perfect but I am proud to be who I am… sometimes I forget it’s ok to be me.” In the first photo, she rocked a zebra print bikini, while in the second, Selena is seen stepping out of the sea in a stunning black and white one-piece.

The star has previously opened up about her changing body over the years, due to her Lupus diagnosis which affects her weight. During a livestream on Twitter last year, Selena confronted critics who commented on her weight, stating that she shouldn’t be castigated for her changing appearance.

“When I’m taking it, I tend to hold a lot of water weight, and that happens very normally. When I’m off of it, I tend to kind of lose weight,” she explained. “I just wanted to say and encourage anyone out there who feels any sort of shame for exactly what they’re going through and no one knows the real story.”

Selena fired back at online trolls, professing she would “much rather be healthy and take care of myself” than modify her appearance to meet societal expectations. “My medications are important, and I believe that they’re what helps me,” she added.
