Disturbing Steven Tyler Health Update at 75 Confirms the Rumors – And It’s What We Feared

Aerosmith Cancels Tour Dates Due to Steven Tyler’s Health
This week, fans of Aerosmith were left disappointed as the band announced the cancellation of six tour dates for their farewell tour, “Peace Out.” The lead singer, Steven Tyler, revealed on Instagram that he has severe damage to his vocal chords and has been advised by doctors to stop singing for the next 30 days.
The affected tour dates include the September 12 show in Toronto, the September 15 show in Chicago, the September 18 show in Detroit, the September 21 show in Raleigh, and the September 27 show in Washington D.C. These concerts will now take place in early 2024.

In a statement addressed to their fans, Aerosmith expressed their sadness about the situation and their commitment to deliver the best performance possible when they return. They assured that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates, and refunds will be available for those unable to attend.

A Tour Ending in a Later Date
The “Peace Out: The Farewell Tour” was announced to span 40 dates from September 2 to January 26. However, due to the postponements, the tour will now conclude at a later date. The band plans to resume touring on Monday, October 11.

Considering the ages of the band members, it is impressive that they embarked on a final tour. Steven Tyler turned 75 years old in March, and the physical toll of performing 40 shows cannot be underestimated.

Steven Tyler’s Selflessness and Philanthropy
However, Steven Tyler’s dedication to his fans and music has always been commendable. In 2019, the Aerosmith frontman played a significant role in establishing “Janie’s House,” a facility for abused and neglected girls. He even donated $500,000 towards the renovation of the 82-acre building located just outside of Memphis.

Named after Aerosmith’s hit song “Janie’s Got a Gun,” the house aims to provide a safe space for women who have nowhere else to go. It showcases Steven Tyler’s selfless character and his commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

We can only hope that Steven Tyler will recover swiftly and get back to doing what he does best – delivering incredible performances.
