Famed Zookeeper Jack Hanna As Family Shares Devastating Update

It’s heartbreaking to witness the struggles that Hanna and his family are going through. Despite the difficulties, they remain resilient and strive to find joy in each day, even when faced with challenges.

By speaking openly about Hanna’s battle with Alzheimer’s, his family hopes to raise awareness about the disease, which affects nearly 7 million Americans and their families. Ten months ago, Hanna allowed The Columbus Dispatch to have a glimpse into his life. Currently residing in Montana with his family, it was revealed that he now only remembers his dog, his wife, and occasionally his oldest daughter, Kathaleen. The once brilliant mind that defined him is now fading away.
