The internet is going wild over a picture of a hidden animal \u2013 apparently, only one in 100 people can spot it. <\/p>\n

TikTok star Hectic Nick challenges his followers with brain teasers and mind-bending images.<\/p>\n

With one of his most popular visual puzzles, he asked fans to spot the hidden animal within a viral picture.<\/p>\n

He wrote a tempting caption alongside the optical illusion: \u201cYou can only like this video if you can find the hidden image in the picture.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then added: \u201cApparently only one percent of people can find it \u2013 if they can, comment because I can see nothing.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood luck.\u201d<\/p>\n

People have eagerly taken on the challenge, with many attempting to locate the elusive panda.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see it lol,\u201d one person writes.<\/p>\n

A second says: \u201cI really couldn\u2019t see it at first.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to turn my phone upside down,\u201d shares another.<\/p>\n

A fourth viewer comments: \u201cI made my eyes blurry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, others said the challenge is far too easy, with one TikToker writing: \u201cPanda \u2013 shake the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very easy to see what it is. I saw it immediately,\u201d boasts another. <\/p>\n

A third person pens: \u201cThis challenge was a lot easier than I thought.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPanda. It\u2019s visible. I\u2019m in that exclusive one percent. Yessssss,\u201d someone else says.

Those who found the puzzle easy have shared their advice for others who found it a little more challenging.<\/p>\n

One viewer points out: \u201cI saw a panda, you can only see it if you move the picture away from you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another suggests: \u201cInstead of looking away, just cross your eyes to look at your nose. Then look at the screen and you\u2019ll see the panda first for one second.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI saw a panda because I tilted my device,\u201d shares somebody else.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a reason why some people have found this challenge more difficult than others.

In an interview with News.com.au, Associate Professor Paul E Dux, from the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland, explained: \u201cSome have better \u2018spatial attention\u2019 than others.\u201d<\/p>\n

Visual-spatial attention is a form of spatial attention that involves directing attention to an area in space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other reason is that people sometimes just get lucky, and the eyes fall on the target immediately,\u201d Professor Dux adds.<\/p>\n

Professor Barton Anderson, from the University of Sydney, tells New.com.au that if people struggle to spot the panda, they need to \u2018view the image from a distance, or to blur their eyes by squinting.\u2019<\/p>\n
