Coming out to your family isn\u2019t easy, especially when you\u2019re unsure how they\u2019re going to take it. The father in this story sure wasn\u2019t ready for what he heard!<\/p>\n

Joe was an old-fashioned father, and wasn\u2019t exactly out there walking in Pride parades in his free time. One day at breakfast, his oldest daughter gathered up her courage and decided to come out of the closet.<\/p>\n

\u201cDad, I have to tell you something: I\u2019m a lesbian.\u201d<\/p>\n

The father put down his newspaper and looked at her. \u201cHmm\u2026 are you sure?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dad looked a little uneasy, but remained calm and said, \u201cOkay, well, no matter what, you\u2019re still my daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon seeing that the father\u2019s reaction wasn\u2019t as bad as she had feared, younger sister Lisa also piped up, \u201cDad, I\u2019m a lesbian too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dad frowned and loudly exclaimed, \u201cDamn it, doesn\u2019t anyone in this house like boys?\u201d<\/p>\n
