Unalaska is home to more than 600 bald eagles, attracted by the abundance of carrion and ducks. The sight of these majestic birds is common, but Jessie\u2019s relationship with them is extraordinary.<\/p>\n<p>Handling Wild Birds with Care<\/p>\n<p>Bald eagles are known for their aggression, especially when protecting their young. \u201cWe put up signs every year to remind people about nesting eagles,\u201d said Jennifer Shockley, deputy chief of police. In a viral YouTube video with nearly 9 million views, Jessie is seen tending to a flock of bald eagles.
