\nElon Musk has been front and center in the news recently, especially after President Donald Trump\u2019s official swearing in ceremony. He has been made in charge of DOGE, an organization which says it aims to erradicate fraudulent and uneccesary government spending.<\/p>\n
He has been at many press conferences and now it seems like he is not showing up alone, as his four-year-old son accompanied him at the latest one which caused a lot of commotion online.<\/p>\n
And it seems not everyone, including his mother, was happy.<\/p>\n
Elon Musk\u2019s four-year-old son, X \u00c6 A-Xii\u2019s made his public appearance on top of his father\u2019s shoulder\u2019s at the Oval Office.<\/p>\n
Musk has been enjoying his new role in politics in tandem with his role as the CEO of Tesla. He is often spotted at political events and will likely be spotted at more. On Tuesday this week, as President Donald Trump signed an executive order, which gave the Department of Government Efficiency (referred to as DOGE) more power, Elon musk was present by his side, smiling widely. Videos from the event showed Musk\u2019s 4-year-old in the room with him as he hid behind Trump\u2019s desk as his father took questions defending DOGE\u2019s controversial actions so far.<\/p>\n
The appearance of little X \u00c6 A-Xii became a topic of conversation on The View, as Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar discussed him. \u201cYesterday Elon Musk took his son X to a press conference,\u201d Whoopi said before Behar interrupted her, asking, \u201cX?\u201d<\/p>\n
The comedian merely replied, \u201cI did not name the child, and I don\u2019t want to hear anymore mess about our names,\u201d which caused everyone to laugh.<\/p>\n
According to the Daily Mail, Goldberg made a joke about how the child was named similarly to his father\u2019s social media platform called X, which was formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n
The mother of X \u00c6 A-Xii, singer Grimes, also said she had no idea that her child would be at the Oval Office. She found out on X. A user wrote under one of her posts about little X\u2019s appearance, they posted, \u201cLil X was very polite today! You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT \u2018please forgive me, I need to pee.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
She replied writing, \u201cHe should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I\u2019m glad he was polite. Sigh.\u201d<\/p>\n
It seems Grimes was unaware her son would be at the high profile press event. And people lambasted against Musk for taking the child to the occasion.<\/p>\n
One person wrote, \u201cHe is using his son as a PR stunt. Trying to make himself look more human and caring.\u201d<\/p>\n
While another shared, \u201cHe\u2019s using the child as a distraction so the reporters don\u2019t ask him tough questions that he may end up lying on or admit he previously lied,\u201d<\/p>\n
A third shared another theory, \u201cElon Musk is a father in name only, there is no normal family life for any of his children, he uses the poor young ones as some kind of Exhibit. His older son Kia agree with this.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since their split in 2022, Grimes has done her best to distance herself from Musk and his actions. This January after Elon Musk came under fire for his one-armed gesture during Trump\u2019s inauguration that resembled a Nazi salute, she made a statement on the matter.<\/p>\n
She wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s absurd that someone can be this cancelled for something their ex did before they even heard it happened. I am not him. I will not make a statement every time he does something. I can only send love back into a world that is hurting.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple share three children together. Their oldest is, 4-year-old X \u00c6 A-Xii, 2-year-old Techno Mechanicus and 3-year-old Exa Dark Sider\u00e6l. The younger of the two were born via surrogacy.<\/p>\n
She shared her sentiments, \u201cTo be clear i could talk sh\u2013t and be on a bunch of magazine covers and be a feminist hero and get clout \u2014 but it would serve no purpose. I choose my children\u2019s wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n
