The judge says, \u201cYou seem like nice young men, and I\u2019d like to give you a second chance instead of jail time<\/p>\n
I want you to go out this weekend and try to convince others of the evils of drug use<\/p>\n
I\u2019ll see you back in court Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Monday, the judge asks the first guy, \u201cHow did you do over the weekend?\u201d \u201cWell, your honor, I persuaded 17 people to give up drugs forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSeventeen people? That\u2019s wonderful<\/p>\n
How did you do it? \u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI used a diagram, your honor<\/p>\n
I drew two circles like this<\/p>\n
Then I told them that the big circle is your brain before drugs and the small circle is your brain after drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s admirable,\u201d says the judge<\/p>\n
Then he turns to the second guy<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd how did you do?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, your honor, I persuaded 156 people to give up drugs forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWow!\u201d says the judge<\/p>\n
\u201c156 people! How did you manage to do that?\u201d \u201cWell, I used a similar diagram,\u201d the guy says<\/p>\n
