They are claiming they may have solved the mystery of where the remains of Noah\u2019s Ark are.<\/p>\n

The story of Noah\u2019s Ark is well-known to most people. The story goes that a great flood threatened to wipe out the entire world, including all living creatures, except those that survived the flood by going aboard Noah\u2019s ship.<\/p>\n
Those who believe in the Ark think it would have been as wide as half a football field. And now, an American researcher is saying they have found where the ship\u2019s remains have languished for centuries.<\/p>\n
Andrew Jones, an independent researcher who has worked on the project, has shared, \u201cIt is exactly what you\u2019d expect to find if this were a man-made boat, consistent with the biblical specifications of Noah\u2019s Ark.\u201d He claims to have found the remains in Turkey thanks to ground-penetrating radar technology.<\/p>\n
He works with a team of people who he said are \u2018interested in pursuing scientific work\u2019 on the site itself.<\/p>\n
The group started to look at the mountains in Eastern Turkey, roughly 18 miles south of Mount Ararat, which is where the Bible shows the boat\u2019s final destination.<\/p>\n
The spot they have pinpointed is the Durupinar site which from an aerial view looks like a boat-shaped mount. It measures about 538 feet in length \u2013 which is about the likely dimensions of the infamous ark found mentioned in the Bible.<\/p>\n
The radar picked up a 13-foot \u2018tunnel\u2019 roaming through the center as well as subterranean layers, plus \u2018central and side corridors or hallways running through.\u2019<\/p>\n

\nThe team thinks this is similar to the structure revealed in the Book of Genesis 6:16 where Noah was instructed to make \u2018lower, second, and third decks\u2019. The structure revealed to have some 20 feet below the surface.<\/p>\n
And according to the researcher, there is some organic matter that is growing on that specific piece of land which further helps their theory.<\/p>\n
And that\u2019s not all, as they say, even the organic matter growing on the site lends to their theory.<\/p>\n
Jones shared his observation, \u201cWe noticed that the grass growing within the boat-shaped formation is a different color compared to the area just outside it.\u201d<\/p>\n
When they ran tests, they saw that it had lower pH levels than the soil that lies beyond the formation. This, the researchers argue, is \u2018consistent with rotting wood\u2019<\/p>\n
William Crabtree, another person of the team says, \u201cIf you know soil science \u2014 as I\u2019m a soil scientist \u2014 you\u2019ll understand that potassium levels, organic matter, and pH can all be influenced by decaying organic material.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further added, \u201cIf this was a wooden boat and the wood had rotted over time, we would expect to see elevated levels of potassium, changes in pH, and higher organic content \u2014 and that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019re finding.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, despite all of this evidence, Jones says they do not expect to find something concrete beneath the mound, saying the remains are only a \u2018chemical imprint\u2019 of \u2018pieces of wood and in the ground\u2019.<\/p>\n
Jones supported his theory by saying, \u201cThis is not what you\u2019d expect to see if the site were simply a solid block of rock or the result of random mudflow debris.\u201d<\/p>\n
The team wants to carry out a drilling survey to \u2018give us a much clearer picture of whether this is truly something man-made,\u2019 according to Jones.<\/p>\n
