Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan are one of the most inspiring couples in Hollywood. They\u2019ve been loyally married for over three decades and have supported each other through ups and downs, especially Fox\u2019s battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n

Recently, the couple celebrated their 35th anniversary, and the actor shared a heartwarming tribute to his beloved wife.<\/p>\n

\nThe Back to the Future star, 62, shared a series of photos of him and Tracy over the years on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201c35 years of laugher, living, listening and loving you,\u201d Fox wrote in the caption. \u201cThank you for it all. Forever yours, Mike.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLove you so much!!!\u201d Pollan replied in the comments. She also shared her own Instagram post paying tribute to her husband:<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy anniversary my love. Here\u2019s to many more glorious adventures together. I could not love you more,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Pollan celebrated her 63rd birthday last month, Fox also shared a sweet birthday tribute to his wife: \u201cShe showers the people she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy forever Summer girl, my love, my best friend, and the most beautiful amazing mom to our four stupendous kids. Love love love you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan \u2013 love story
\nFox & Pollan have been married since 1988. They first met years earlier on the set of Family Ties, on which Pollan played the girlfriend of Fox\u2019s Alex P. Keaton. They worked together again on the film Bright Lights, Big City and began a relationship.<\/p>\n

The couple married on July 16, 1988. They have four children together: their son Sam, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and daughter Esm\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Only a few years into their marriage, Fox\u2019s life took a devastating turn after he was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s disease in 1991.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was scary,\u201d Fox recalled on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2015. \u201cI was 29 years old and so it was the last thing I expected to hear. I thought I\u2019d hurt my shoulder doing some stunt because I had a twitch in my pinkie. And the doctor said \u2018You have Parkinson\u2019s disease.\u2019 He said, \u2018The good news is that you have 10 years of work left.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox struggled to come to terms with the disease, but says his wife\u2019s love and support helped him through the darkest times.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t know what to expect,\u201d Fox told Today. \u201cOne of the things I\u2019ll always love Tracy for is that at that moment, she didn\u2019t blink.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the past 35 years, they have been a constant source of love and support for one another, and their love is still going strong.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we really listen to each other, we are there for each other when we need each other,\u201d Pollan told People. \u201cAnd then we also give each other space when that\u2019s needed. Just feeling off of what\u2019s needed at the moment and trying to be there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTracy gives our family everything that we need. Any good in our family, anything good that we do, comes from her,\u201d Fox added.<\/p>\n

Fox retired from acting in 2021, and recently admitted that his battle with Parkinson\u2019s was \u201cgetting tougher\u201d and that he was \u201cnot gonna be 80,\u201d but said he was still \u201chappy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox continues to do great work with his Michael J. Fox Foundation, which funds research to find better treatments and a cure for Parkinson\u2019s. The foundation is the largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson\u2019s disease research and has raised over $1 billion for research projects.<\/p>\n
