Two men are walking across a field, when they come across a very large hole in the ground<\/p>\n
So large that they can\u2019t see the bottom of this hole<\/p>\n
\u201cI wonder how deep it is.\u201d, the first man says.<\/p>\n
The second man pulls out a coin, and flips it into hole<\/p>\n
They wait and listen\u2026<\/p>\n
\u2026 30 seconds pass and still not a sound.<\/p>\n
\u201cWow!\u201d, they both exclaim<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s try something else.\u201d, says one man to the other.<\/p>\n
They spot a large rock nearby, and with a struggle, they get the rock to the hole. They roll it in, wait and listen\u2026 still nothing.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy goodness! How deep this hole must be!\u201d, says one man<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s try that huge log over there.\u201d, says the other.<\/p>\n
Again, with a struggle, they haul this huge log to the hole, and roll it in.<\/p>\n
As they wait and listen, and seemingly out of nowhere, a goat runs up and jumps in the hole.<\/p>\n
As they both look at each other in shock, they hear a tractor coming across the field.<\/p>\n
Shortly after, a farmer arrives, and asks, \u201cEither of you boys seen my goat?\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cYeah!\u201d, they both exclaim<\/p>\n
\u201cOne just came by and jumped in this hole!\u201d The farmer sits back and tells them\u2026<\/p>\n
\u2026 \u201cNo, no<\/p>\n
Couldn\u2019t have been my goat<\/p>\n
