After checking in at the front desk, a blonde nurse came out, called his name, and led him down the hallway to a small curtained cubicle.<\/p>\n
She handed him a gown and said, \u201cPlease undress. The doctor will be with you shortly.\u201d<\/p>\n
The man looked at her in surprise.<\/p>\n
\u201cUndress?\u201d he asked. \u201cBut I\u2019m only here for an ingrown toenail.\u201d<\/p>\n
The nurse nodded calmly. \u201cI understand, sir, but it\u2019s office policy. All patients must undress before seeing the doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n
The man frowned.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s ridiculous,\u201d he complained. \u201cI came in because my toe hurts. Why on earth would I need to take all my clothes off for that?\u201d<\/p>\n
The nurse simply smiled politely and left him there.<\/p>\n
The man muttered under his breath as he began removing his jacket and shoes.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the stupidest rule I\u2019ve ever heard,\u201d he grumbled. \u201cMaking someone undress just to look at a toe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Just then, a tired voice came from the next curtained cubicle.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou think that\u2019s bad?\u201d the voice said.<\/p>\n
The patient paused.<\/p>\n
