An old hillbilly farmer had a wife who nagged him from morning until night.<\/p>\n
Breakfast was too late.<\/p>\n
The coffee was too weak.<\/p>\n
The tractor was too loud.<\/p>\n
The weather was somehow also his fault.<\/p>\n
The only peace he ever got was when he went out to plow the fields with his old mule.<\/p>\n
So naturally, he plowed a lot.<\/p>\n
One afternoon, his wife brought lunch out to the field.<\/p>\n
The farmer stopped the mule under a shady tree, sat on a stump, and opened his lunch.<\/p>\n
Before he could take three bites, the complaints started.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re sitting wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou chew too loudly.\u201d<\/p>\n
The mule\u2019s ears twitched.<\/p>\n
The farmer kept eating.<\/p>\n
The nagging continued.<\/p>\n
Suddenly, the old mule kicked backward with both hind legs and struck the woman squarely in the head.<\/p>\n
She died instantly.<\/p>\n
Several days later, at the funeral, the minister noticed something unusual.<\/p>\n
Whenever a woman approached the farmer, she would speak quietly, and the farmer would nod his head in agreement.<\/p>\n
But whenever a man came over, the farmer would listen, then firmly shake his head no.<\/p>\n
This happened again and again.<\/p>\n
Finally, the minister asked him about it.<\/p>\n
The old farmer explained,<\/p>\n
