A lady walked into her local butcher shop one afternoon to pick up a few things for dinner.<\/p>\n
She moved slowly along the counter, inspecting the steaks, sausages, chops, and everything else on display.<\/p>\n
Then she suddenly stopped.<\/p>\n
Sitting behind the glass was something she definitely did not recognize.<\/p>\n
She leaned closer.<\/p>\n
Then leaned back.<\/p>\n
Then leaned closer again.<\/p>\n
Finally, she pointed at it and asked,<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat in the world is that?\u201d<\/p>\n
The butcher looked over casually.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeef tongue,\u201d replies the butcher!<\/p>\n
The woman\u2019s eyes widened.<\/p>\n
She gave a little involuntary shudder and took a small step backward.<\/p>\n
\u201cEwww! Gross!\u201d<\/p>\n
The butcher raised an eyebrow.<\/p>\n
She continued, clearly horrified by the idea.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo way would I put anything in my mouth that came out of an animal\u2019s mouth!\u201d<\/p>\n
The butcher nodded slowly and professionally, as though he completely understood her concern.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, madam.\u201d<\/p>\n
The woman seemed pleased that he agreed with her.<\/p>\n
She turned back toward her shopping cart, ready to continue with the rest of her groceries.<\/p>\n
The butcher glanced down.<\/p>\n
He noticed bread.<\/p>\n
Some vegetables.<\/p>\n
A carton of milk.<\/p>\n
Then his eyes stopped on one particular item.<\/p>\n
He looked back at the woman.<\/p>\n
