A funeral service was being held for a woman who had recently passed away.<\/p>\n
The church was full of relatives, old friends and neighbors who had come to pay their respects.<\/p>\n
Her husband sat quietly in the front row, looking devastated.<\/p>\n
After the service ended, the pallbearers carefully lifted the casket and began carrying it toward the exit.<\/p>\n
Everything was solemn and respectful.<\/p>\n
Until they turned a corner.<\/p>\n
One of the pallbearers misjudged the distance and accidentally bumped the casket hard against a wall.<\/p>\n
Everyone froze.<\/p>\n
Then, from inside the casket, came a faint moan.<\/p>\n
At first, nobody moved.<\/p>\n
One pallbearer looked at another.<\/p>\n
\u201cDid you hear that?\u201d<\/p>\n
They quickly lowered the casket and opened it.<\/p>\n
To everyone\u2019s astonishment, the woman was still alive.<\/p>\n
An ambulance was called, she recovered, and what had begun as a funeral turned into the strangest family celebration anyone could remember.<\/p>\n
She went on to live for another ten years.<\/p>\n
Eventually, however, she passed away again.<\/p>\n
A second funeral was arranged.<\/p>\n
Many of the same relatives attended, and once again the husband sat quietly through the service.<\/p>\n
