She confidently raised one arm to get everyone\u2019s attention and called out,<\/p>\n
\u201cWhich gentleman is going to buy a lady a drink?\u201d<\/p>\n
The pub fell silent.<\/p>\n
Most people suddenly became very interested in their own glasses.<\/p>\n
Then, from the far end of the bar, a cheerful old fellow who\u2019s clearly had one too many slammed his hand on the counter.<\/p>\n
\u201cBuy the ballerina a drink!\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n
The bartender shrugged, poured her a drink, and she happily finished it in one gulp.<\/p>\n
A few moments later, she raised her arm again and repeated,<\/p>\n
\u201cCome on now\u2026 who\u2019s buying this lady another drink?\u201d<\/p>\n

The same man banged the bar.<\/p>\n
