A bar opened near a church! The church prayed daily against the business.<\/p>\n
Days later the bar was struck by lightning and burned to ashes. Bar owner sued the church\u2019s priests because he said the fire was the result of their prayers.<\/p>\n
The church denied all responsibility!<\/p>\n
So, the judge commented: \u201cIt\u2019s difficult to decide the case because here we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer and an entire church that doesn\u2019t believe in it!\u201d

\nThe new priest was hosting a meeting in the church of the young candidates for First Communion, with their parents.<\/p>\n
Now, this church had some magnificent stained glass windows, so his message centered on how each of us is called to help make up the whole picture of life, i.e., the life of the community of the faithful. Like the pictures in the windows, it takes many little panels of glass to make the whole picture.<\/p>\n
And then he said, \u201cYou see, each one of you is a little pane,\u201d and pointing to each child, he said, \u201cYou\u2019re a little pane. And you\u2019re a little pane. And you\u2019re a little pane. And\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
It took a few moments before he realized why all the parents were laughing so hard.<\/p>\n
In an Anglican church, each service begins with a greeting.<\/p>\n
The officiating clergyman says, \u201cThe Lord be with you.\u201d<\/p>\n
The congregation used to respond by saying, \u201cAnd with thy spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n
But, with the modernizing of the liturgy, the minister now says, \u201cThe Lord be with you,\u201d and everyone responds with, \u201cAnd also with you.\u201d
\nOne Sunday a visiting bishop went to a church where the sound system was known to be old and unreliable.<\/p>\n
As he approached the microphone, he tapped it several times and finally said, \u201cThere\u2019s something wrong with this!\u201d<\/p>\n
Without hesitation, the whole congregation answered faithfully, \u201cAnd also with you.\u201d<\/p>\n
A guy walks into an antique store<\/p>\n
and buys a grandfather clock, he walks out of the shop with it and accidentally walks into a drunk guy. (they both fall over and the clock gets smashed to bits)<\/p>\n
The guy says to the drunk, \u201cWhy don\u2019t you watch where your going?\u201d and the drunk says, \u201cWhy don\u2019t you carry a wrist watch like everybody else?\u201d
\nTwo drunks are walking along.<\/p>\n
One drunk says to the other, \u201cWhat a beautiful night, look at the moon.\u201d<\/p>\n
The other drunk stops and looks at his drunk friend. \u201cYou\u2019re wrong, that\u2019s not the moon, that\u2019s the sun.\u201d<\/p>\n
They began to argue when they come upon another drunk. They asked, \u201cSir, could you please help settle our argument? Tell us what that thing is up in the sky that\u2019s shining.
\nIs it the moon or the sun?\u201d<\/p>\n
