During this meeting, a special plan was hatched for one particular person \u2013 Abby\u2019s 92-year-old grandmother, Georgiana Arlt.<\/p>\n<p>Georgiana, who had never been part of a wedding party before, received the exciting news with sheer delight. Abby shared with PEOPLE how she informed her cherished family member of the unconventional plan. Abby\u2019s friend Dustin Mershon recalled the moment, saying, \u201cEveryone screamed but she shrieked at the top of her lungs. She kept on saying over and over that she had never been in a wedding before besides for her own. She was so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bride had decided that Georgiana would play the role of the flower girl, a surprising choice given that this role typically goes to younger family members.<\/p>\n<p>On the much-anticipated wedding day, even Abby couldn\u2019t contain her excitement at the sight of Georgiana in her pale blue suit, adorned with flowers, making a surprising entrance with her walker. Abby admitted, \u201cI was hiding in the clubhouse, and I told my girlfriend that I had to look out the window even though people might see me.
