Education is not about learning facts, but about training the mind to think. Sadly, our education system sometimes fails to let students think outside the box or nurture their creativity.<\/p>\n

The following story is just a joke that tends to make you laugh, but at the same time, it speaks a lot about what education should be all about, and that\u2019s curiosity, creativity, and occasional laughter.
\nA first grader named Johnny wasn\u2019t interested in the lesson so his teacher asked him what the problem was.
\nThe boy replied: \u201cI\u2019m too smart for first grade. My sister, who is in third grade, is less intelligent than me. I think I\u2019m in the wrong class.\u201d
\nThe teacher then took Johnny to the principal\u2019s office.
\nWhile Johnny waited in the hallway outside, the teacher informed the principal of the situation.
\n\u201cThe boy would take a test,\u201d the headmaster informed the instructor, \u201cand if he didn\u2019t do well, he would be sent back to first grade to learn appropriate behavior.\u201d

\nJohnny decided to take part in the test after being brought in and informed of its specifications.
\n\u201cWhat is 3 + 3?\u201d you ask the student.
\nJohnny: \u201c6\u201d
\nThe teacher asked again, \u201cHow much is 6 x 6?\u201d
\nJohnny: \u201c36\u201d
\nThe student was tested on everything the principal thought a third-grader should know.
\nAfter glancing at the teacher, the principal declared, \u201cI think Johnny can go to third grade.\u201d
\n\u201cCan I ask him a few questions?\u201d the teacher asked.
\n\u201cWhat does a cow have four of and I only have two?\u201d
\nAfter a short pause, Johnny said, \u201cLegs.\u201d
\n\u201cWhat do you have in your pants and I don\u2019t?\u201d continued the teacher.
\nThe teacher\u2019s eyes widened noticeably, but Johnny replied, \u201cPockets\u201d.
\n\u201cWhat does a dog do when a person steps on it?\u201d continued the lecturer.
\nJohnny: \u201cPants\u201d
\n\u201cWhat has the letters F and K in it and means great excitement,\u201d asked the teacher.
\nJohnny: \u201cFire truck.\u201d
\n\u201cPut Johnny in fifth grade,\u201d the principal told the instructor, \u201cI missed the last four questions myself.\u201d
