Nothing could dampen her excitement \u2013 not even her parents\u2019 nasty divorce. Her mother had found the perfect dress to wear, and would be the best-dressed mother-of-the-bride ever! A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father\u2019s new, young wife had bought the exact same dress as her mother.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer asked her father\u2019s new young wife to exchange it, but she refused. \u201cAbsolutely not! I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I\u2019m wearing it,\u201d she replied. Jennifer told her mother who graciously said, \u201cNever mind sweetheart. I\u2019ll get another dress. After all, it\u2019s your special day. \u201dA few days later, they went shopping, and did find another gorgeous dress for her mother. When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, \u201cAren\u2019t you going to return the other dress? You really don\u2019t have another occasion where you could wear it. \u201dHer mother just smiled and replied, \u201cOf course I do, dear.
