Actress Gina Carano has initiated legal proceedings against entertainment giants Disney and Lucasfilm. The dispute stems from Carano\u2019s controversial departure from the hit series \u201cThe Mandalorian,\u201d a decision publicly attributed by Lucasfilm to her social media conduct, which the company described as \u201cdenigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities.\u201d<\/p>\n
Carano, whose career spans two decades, contested the portrayal of her actions and statements, arguing that her departure was the result of a targeted campaign against her due to her political and social views. \u201cI was being hunted down\u2026because I was not in line with the acceptable narrative of the time,\u201d Carano stated.<\/p>\n
