Hostin was confronted with the fact that her forebears were not just from Puerto Rico, as she had always believed, but originally hailed from Spain\u2014and were slave owners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow. I\u2019m a little bit in shock,\u201d Hostin said. \u201cI just always thought of myself as Puerto Rican. You know, half Puerto Rican.
