According to a video that made the rounds on Twitter the other day, a Friday town hall of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez\u2019s in the Corona neighborhood of New York City turned to total chaos when a constituent called her a \u201cpiece of sh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the incident, the heckler shouted \u201cAmerican citizens before migrants,\u201d and protesters chanted \u201cAmerica First\u201d as the crowd booed and the heckler was led away. Before being led away the heckler also, waving small American flags as he did so, yelled, \u201cWhere are you on the migrant issue? You\u2019re a piece of s\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another heckler shouted, \u201cWe are on a verge of nuclear war with Russia\u201d during the town hall, with another, an Iraq War veteran, yelling, \u201cImmigrants have nothing to do with vets, it\u2019s just an excuse\u201d at leftists chanting about migrants.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the Twitter video, people tore into AOC. One, for example, claimed that AOC hated the Trump tax cuts, saying, \u201cAOC doesn\u2019t like that Republicans passed a tax cut in 2017 that gave Americans the doubled standard deduction and child credit plus lower tax rates in the brackets. You must be rich because she labels that 2017 tax cut a tax cut for the rich.\u201d<\/p>\n
Continuing, that commenter said, \u201cImagine what your federal income taxes would be without that GOP tax cut. She neglects to mention that the federal government\u2019s revenues have never been higher\u2026revenue is currently 2% over historic highs. AOC wants to eliminate raising the debt limit which means she wants an unlimited credit card to spend taxpayers into even higher debt and inflation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another noted that she dodged questions about the obscene amount already spent on funding the war in the Ukraine, saying, \u201cSo she lies, gets applause (the old Democrat talking point \u201cGOP tax cuts for the wealthy\u201d) and dodges questions about spending $100B on a war in a foreign land while the debt limit approaches.\u201d<\/p>\n
Similarly, another said, \u201cShe says she want to remove the debt but votes to send $100 billion to Ukraine! How does that remove debt?!\u201d Another focused on AOC\u2019s supporters at the town hall, saying, \u201cDid these radicals really just call that man a Nazi for saying america first?!\u201d Similarly, another commenter said, \u201cWhen the left disrupts violently and destroys shit, throws things, and shuts down discussions, lib media celebrates. But when a patriot interrupts Ms. Precious, then that is a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
