She is also listed as a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter organization\u2019s Los Angeles chapter.<\/p>\n<p>When one X user asked her to explain her position on Taylor Swift, Abdullah said that she \u201cFEELS\u201d that liking Taylor Swift is racist. \u201cKind of like that feeling I get when there are too many American flags,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>A few hours later, the BLM-linked professor referred to the Chiefs\u2019 victory as a \u201cright-wing, white supremacist conspiracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFolks think they\u2019re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist\u2026I\u2019m not offended. Virtually everything is racist,\u201d she wrote in another post after her previous ramblings went viral.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ourtimenew.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_8262-300x252.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"252\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6559\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ourtimenew.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_8262-300x252.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/ourtimenew.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_8262.jpeg 751w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Abdullah is no stranger to controversial social media posts. In June 2022, she took to social media to announce that white people are not welcome at \u201cJuneteenth cookouts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAttention white people\u2026 Please don\u2019t ask if you can come to the cookout\u2026 #Juneteenth is freedom day for Black folks,\u201d Abdullah wrote in a tweet in June 2022. \u201cIt should be #Reparations day for white folks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Abdullah\u2019s Wikipedia bio, her father John Reimann, was \u201ca union organizer and self-proclaimed Trotskyist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer mother is Linda Fowler Blackston and she was raised by Oji \u201cBaba\u201d Blackston. Her paternal grandfather was G\u00fcnter Reimann (born Hans Steinicke), a German-Jewish Marxist economist and member of the Communist Party of Germany who opposed Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich,\u201d the bio continues.<\/p>\n<p>The BLM leader changed her surname to Abdullah after she married filmmaker Phaylen Abdullah.
