Gillis\u2019 character instantly becomes more confident after finding the shoes and starts to have success in every facet of life. He also starts to dress and talk like the former president.<\/p>\n<p>While the shoes didn\u2019t actually help his ability to do anything better, Gillis continues to turn things around while increasingly resembling Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The sketch ends with a hilarious moment with day wearing Velco shoes called \u201cAir Bidens.\u201d He then proceeds to face plant immediately after catching the ball.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" title=\"Shane Gillis Stars In SNL Sketch Comparing Trump&amp;apos;s Sneakers To &amp;apos;Air Bidens&amp;apos;\" src=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/embed\/v4d1l3f\/#?secret=VqU0MXYDun\" data-secret=\"VqU0MXYDun\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Gillis\u2019 return to Saturday Night Live came nearly four years after he was fired from the long-running sketch comedy show over \u201cracist jokes\u201d directed towards Asian people.
