{"id":8095,"date":"2024-03-26T22:20:43","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T22:20:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ourtimenew.com\/?p=8095"},"modified":"2024-03-26T22:20:43","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T22:20:43","slug":"beef-liver-onions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ourtimenew.com\/?p=8095","title":{"rendered":"Beef liver &#038; onions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>*You will need:<br \/>\nIngredients:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b0\u00bc cup flour.<br \/>\n\u00b01 lb beef liver.<br \/>\n\u00b0\u00bc-\u00bd cup butter.<br \/>\n\u00b0\u00bd teaspoon of salt.<br \/>\n\u00b0\u215b teaspoon of pepper.<br \/>\n\u00b0Oil.<br \/>\n\u00b01-2 tbsp chopped fresh sage.<br \/>\n\u00b02 cups minced onions.<br \/>\n\u00b0\u00bd cup beef broth.<br \/>\n\u00b01 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley.<\/p>\n<p>*How:<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nIn a bag, mix the flour, salt and pepper then put the liver (sliced into \u00bd inch strips) in the bag and shake to coat well.<br \/>\nIn a skillet, melt 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter with a drizzle of oil and brown the onions over medium heat.<br \/>\nPlacing onions in a dish also season with sage, salt also pepper.<br \/>\nIn the same skillet, melt 3-4 tablespoons of butter and a drizzle of oil over high heat and stir in the liver. Cooking 5 minutes, stir constantly.<br \/>\nAdd the onions to the liver, heat through and place on a serving platter.<br \/>\nGlaze the pan with the broth and maintain the heat until the sauce thickens.<br \/>\nPour the glaze over the liver and onions and sprinkle with parsley.<br \/>\nEnjoy your food !<br \/>\nSimple, easy and delicious!
