Strutting onto the red carpet in a completely see-through design by Christian Cowan, the Anyone But You star stole the spotlight on Variety’s Power of Women event. It was a silver chainmail dress pulled straight from Cowan’s Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear collection. A wide scoop neckline, flowy mid-length sleeves, and a sculptural, ruched bodice—that looked like fabric was being twisted around Sweeney’s cinched waist—made the piece.

As she turned, one could see that the back of the gown was fastened with a lace-up detail that ran all the way down the center.

The actor wore the naked dress over nude panties and nothing else. Romantic diamond drop earrings and some rings from Effy Jewelry accessorized the look. As for glam, Sweeney had her honey-blonde bob styled in a wavy, glamorous blowout, and she wowed in a black cat eye, bronzy cheeks, and a bold brown lip.

The red-carpet event took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. Sweeney’s attendance came just one day after she was spotted at Dodger Stadium for the LA Dodgers game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Then, she wore a very toned-down fit composed of a white tank, cutoff denim short shorts, cowboy boots, and team merch. She did, however, add a pop of Hollywood glam with a diamond tennis necklace, oversize black shades, and her blonde bob, which was styled into tight curls.
