Two elderly women were sitting on a patio one afternoon, drinking tea and talking about their grandchildren.
One of them sighed and said,
âI donât understand kids these days. I send my grandchildren birthday cards, gifts, and even very generous checks⌠and they still barely come visit me.â
The other old lady smiled and nodded saidâ Oh i too send cheques to my grandchildren and they visit me all the time!â
âReally?â the first woman asked. âYou are so fortunate itâs great to have family around. That must feel wonderful.â
âNo my grandchildren are as good as yoursâ the second woman replied.
The first lady leaned closer.
âWhatâs your secret?â
The second old woman took a slow sip of tea and grinned.
âI never sign the checks.â đ
