His commendable performance in the film led to him being honored as an esteemed member of the U.S. Army Rangers Hall of Fame.
Although he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at tonight’s ceremony for his portrayal of Fred Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, he did not win. The film, released in November 2019, revolves around an investigative journalist named Lloyd Vogel, played by Matthew Rhys, who is tasked with profiling Mr. Rogers.
