Taylor Swift was branded a “s**t role model” by some Super Bowl viewers as she chugged a beer in celebration of her boyfriend Travis Kelce making it to the big game

Taylor Swift has left some fans fuming after she was seen chugging a beer at the Super Bowl in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The 34-year-old singer was caught on the jumbotron screen from her exclusive suite, throwing back a beer as she cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. While some thought it was all in good fun, others took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their outrage, calling her a poor role model for young viewers.

One person wrote: “Particularly enjoyed Taylor Swift chugging beer and her boyfriend assaulting his coach. Awesome role models!”

Another added: “Chugging a beer makes you look like white trash when you’re Taylor Swift.” A third chimed in with: “Taylor Swift chugging beer. Disgusted with her! Yeah … that’s a role model you want for your little girl.”

Some people noticed Taylor’s mate, rapper Ice Spice – real name Isis Naija Gaston – doing weird stuff with a cross necklace and making “Satanic gestures” on the big screen. They couldn’t tell what Taylor was up to, but some folks slammed Ice Spice for “summoning demons” with her odd moves.

Loads of people didn’t like Taylor chugging beer, but her fans stood up for her. One fan said: “Oh my God I’m conservative as they come but all y’all pearl clutching over Taylor Swift chugging a beer are just pathetic. Get over it. I guarantee you’ve said and done worse in front of your kids.” Another said: “Do they really think Taylor Swift is the only one chugging beers today?”

Taylor was super happy on Sunday because her boyfriend Travis and his team won the Super Bowl. She ran onto the field to hug and kiss Travis, and she called the game “unbelievable.”
