WATCH: Madonna Takes A Brutal Tumble During Concert

Madonna’s performance at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena seems more likely to be remembered for its theatrics gone awry than musical prowess.

The iconic pop star, now 65, took a dramatic tumble from her chair on Sunday during her performance of “Open Your Heart.”

The incident, which quickly went viral, saw Madonna being dragged across the stage on a chair by a backup dancer donning high heels – a setup that, in hindsight, seemed like a recipe for disaster.

The stunt backfired spectacularly when Madonna was sent sprawling backward onto the stage.

This isn’t the first time Madonna has courted controversy or pushed the boundaries of performance art, but it may be one of the moments where the risk has visibly outweighed the reward.
