Madonna, 65, declares ‘I have no age’ as she slams critics in sizzling corset video

Madonna, 65, has hit back at her ageist critics in a new video for the Brazilian bank Itau, where she seemed to defy the passage of time with her youthful appearance

Pop superstar Madonna, 65, has told her critics to take a hike because she has “no age”.

The Vogue singer wowed everyone in a new ad for Itau Bank, looking glam in a corset as she strutted around The Palais Garnier in Paris. Dolled up with a fancy pearl necklace, Madge looked like a million bucks as she climbed a regal staircase with her age-defying physique.

Madonna made sure all eyes were on her in a snazzy one-minute video, where she had a pop at people who’ve been calling out her antics because of her age. She reckoned people need to stop worrying about how old she is.

She declared: “They call me the Queen of Pop. I know it’s a compliment, but the monarchy is in the past. I am not. I have no age. I’m all ages.”

And she didn’t stop there, as reported by the Express: “It’s not about who I am. It’s about how many I am. Count my achievements, not the number of years I have lived on this planet. I am always re-inventing myself, so that I can keep being myself.”

It comes after social media trolls accused Madonna of needing a pole to keep herself steady while singing on stage. She’s wowing fans with her sold out Celebration World Tour, which is currently in North America.

She hit back, however, explaining it was all a matter or remaining safe whilst the stage was moving. The latest comments about her looks and age aren’t the first to have prompted a response from the Like A Virgin star.

After the 2023 Grammy Awards, numerous viewers criticised Madonna’s looks on social media. Former Britian’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan’s remarks drew the most attention, as he cruelly compared her latest look to a Halloween costume.

In an Instagram post soon after the event Madonna lashed out though, swiping: “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.”

She continued: “A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working and adventurous.”
