Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were once engaged back in the early 2000s. They met on the set of their movie “Gigli” in 2001. The couple planned to get married in 2003 but ended their engagement just three days before the wedding.

Jennifer revealed in her documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” that the pressure of being Hollywood’s ‘It’ couple was too much for them. They faced immense scrutiny about their private life which led to their breakup.

Jennifer expressed that the breakup was hard because she not only lost the love of her life but also her best friend. However, she believes that the heartbreak set them on a path to self-discovery and becoming better people.

Nearly two decades later, in 2021, Jennifer and Ben found their way back to each other and got married in 2022.

Ben proposed again with a ring engraved with “Not. Going. Anywhere.” which was a phrase he used to end their emails during their renewed courtship.

Jennifer emphasized that there’s no doubt they are meant to be together, and they cherish their second chance. Their love story is a testament to the power of second chances and enduring love.
