Kim Kardashian has become the latest celebrity to weigh in on the Where’s Kate Middleton debate, and fans are not happy with the reality star’s latest Instagram post
Kim Kardashian has been slammed by fans for making a joke about Kate Middleton’s whereabouts.
The reality TV star, 43, made a comment on Instagram about the ongoing speculation about the Princess of Wales. Posing up a storm after transforming her hair into a new blonde ‘do, Kim penned: “On my way to go find Kate”.
Kate has not been seen in public since January when she had planned abdominal surgery. Since then, there have been lots of rumours online about her health. Her Mother’s Day Photoshop scandal caused even more of a stir, until Kate was finally spotted out at a farm shop looking radiant as ever.
On Saturday (March 16), Kate was seen with her husband Prince William visiting her favourite place to buy produce, a mile from her home at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. One witness told The Sun: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.
“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.” Kate was not pictured during the outing, and later spent the morning watching her children playing sports.
Kim’s joke did not make her fans happy, and they criticised her for “spreading rumours”. One fan commented: “Nothing like a celebrity who allegedly hates rumours, spreading rumours.”, reports the Mirror US. Another fan said: “To mock a woman who has a medical problem is so low.”
A third person pointed out how wrong the post was, saying: “It’s not like people from your family have gone into hiding (rightfully so) during pregnancy or other medical reasons… this caption isn’t it.”
Kim’s post comes after Prince Harry’s link to the Kardashian family was exposed. The 39-year-old Duke of Sussex was spotted out skiing in California with Corey Gamble, the boyfriend of Kim’s ‘momager’ Kris Jenner. A source spilled to The Daily Mail that Harry and Corey were enjoying the snowy hills with Whitney Wolfe, who made the Bumble dating app, and her hubby Michael Herd.
Kim isn’t the only famous face talking about the Where’s Kate mystery. Blake Lively hit out at the “edited” picture by sharing one of her own on Instagram, but the Gossip Girl star left fans with a sour taste. One person said: “Very disappointing. Women should support each other”, and someone else wrote: “Love you Lively but this is mean.”
